The Oasis Group is seeking a Disability Support Specialist to join our team in Adult Services. As a key member of our Rehabilitative Training Programme, you will design, deliver, and assess QQI Level 1 & 2 modules for adults with disabilities.

Our programme aims to support individuals in obtaining the necessary academic knowledge, skills, experience, and confidence to lead self-determined lives within their community. We are looking for an experienced professional who can work collaboratively with our team to achieve this goal.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering training programmes that cater to the diverse needs of our participants. You will also work closely with them to develop Personal Centred Plans, which will support them in achieving both their academic and personal goals.

  • We are looking for someone with a relevant technical qualification and experience in delivering modules at QQI Levels within an educational setting.
  • A working knowledge of New Directions policy is essential for this role.
  • You will be expected to work as part of a team and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
