System Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated System Quality Assurance Specialist to join our global team. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the availability and reliability of test lab resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test scenarios and cases.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive test reports, highlighting test coverage, defects, and risks.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve the quality and testability of software designs.
  • Setup and maintenance of lab equipment, including RF sites, routers, servers.
  • Creation and execution of test plans and scripts for project-based, new software rollout in close collaboration with architects and developers.
  • Triaging software problems prior to production rollouts.
  • Participating in architectural and design requirements and software development reviews to ensure testability and identify potential risks or issues.
  • Developing test plan/schedule and maintaining test matrix based on development.
  • Using tools such as Quality Center or TestRail to track the progress of test case development and execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Aptitude for independently learning new technologies.
  • Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.

Benefits:

  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Experience in creating and executing test plans is required.
  • Experience in building and maintaining test infrastructure is also required.
  • Prior experience with Linux and scripting languages like Python, Perl, bash, etc., is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with Agile/DevOps development practices is a plus.
  • Knowledge/experience in RF/Telecommunications systems is a bonus.
