Senior Dietitian Opportunity in Waterford University Hospital

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Dietitian to join our team at Waterford University Hospital.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing cover for the paediatric diabetes service, with opportunities to upskill in other paediatric areas.

Our hospital provides a wide range of regional services to the population of the South East and is a dedicated teaching hospital for UCC and RCSI students.

Services include Emergency Department, ENT, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics & Neonatology, Pathology, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, General Medicine, Medical Oncology and Haematology.

As a member of our Department of Nutrition & Dietetics, you will work closely with a team of 20.0 WTE dietitians to provide a comprehensive dietetic service to both inpatients and outpatients.

The department participates in training for dietetic students from TUD/Trinity College Dublin undergraduate and UCC MSc courses.

Key Requirements:

  • A recognised qualification as a Dietician with CORU registration
  • Experience in a similar setting desirable
  • Permission to work in Ireland
  • Professional approach to work
