Role Summary
The Senior SOC Analyst will be responsible for investigating and analyzing security incidents, collaborating with internal teams to develop incident response strategies, and participating in the Cyber Incident Response Team. This role requires a strong background in threat detection and incident response, as well as experience working with various security tools and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and analyze security incidents, prioritizing and categorizing events based on severity and impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute incident response strategies, leveraging expertise in threat detection and mitigation techniques.
- Participate in the Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT), leading efforts to contain, eradicate, and recover from realized threats.
- Maintain and improve our security posture through process development, tool rationalization, and automation enhancement opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications.
- 4+ years of experience in security/SOC roles, with a focus on threat detection and incident response.
- Familiarity with Splunk, Google Chronicle, Elastic Search, EDR solutions, email security tools, and cloud environments.
