We are seeking a detail-oriented Fund Accountant I to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly and quarterly NAV statements, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the production of financial reports, including NAV statements.
- Prepare investor P&L allocations and fee calculations.
- Calculate and process capital calls, distributions, and statements for closed-end funds.
- Perform cash, position, and market value reconciliations.
- Escalate accounting issues and aged items to the private equity supervisor when necessary.
A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, are required for success in this role. Effective communication and collaboration with internal teams are also essential for delivering high-quality results.
