The Project Engineer plays a pivotal role in driving technical excellence across various project-related activities, focusing on the development and implementation of manufacturing technologies.
Key Areas of Responsibility- Provide strategic engineering leadership for new equipment and process changes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead the introduction of new capital equipment and associated qualification and validation activities, promoting operational efficiency.
- Evaluate process layouts to ensure optimal floor space utilisation and process flow.
- Develop and implement supporting documentation, including SOPs, PFMEA, Control Plans, and process work instructions, enhancing knowledge sharing and transparency.
- Transfer and implement processes from development or another manufacturing facility, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Own budgetary, scheduling, and project databases, providing regular reporting to stakeholders.
- Develop specifications for new equipment purchases and provide technical guidance for maintenance technicians and engineers, ensuring seamless integration.
- Conduct MSA studies for products and new processes, driving quality improvement.
- Take responsibility as technical lead for projects, including scoping, approval, budgeting, specification, execution, qualification, and operational handover, ensuring successful project delivery.
