Munster-based consultancy has vacancies for talented and enthusiastic Coastal and Marine Civil Engineers. Our team is expanding, and we need individuals who are Chartered Engineers with at least 8 years of experience. You will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration package and the chance to develop your skills and expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Have a minimum of 8 to 15 years post-graduate experience in Marine Civil Engineering.
  • Experience in Design and Project Management of coastal/marine engineering projects from inception to handover.
  • Experience in design and planning of large-scale port facilities, including elements such as quay walls, jetties, dolphins, and container pavements.
  • Coastal flood risk assessment, hydrodynamic modeling, and/or coastal protection would be beneficial.
  • Ideal candidates will have knowledge of government/public contracts and others like NEC and FIDIC.
  • Current experience of leading, managing, and running port/marine projects, preferably in the consultancy sector.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of current codes of practice and design standards.
  • Proactive, good communicator with ability to lead others in a multi-disciplinary project team.
  • Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good written and oral communication skills.
