This role will work closely with the Sr. Manager of Supply Chain Operations to ensure Raw materials and Finished Goods inventory processes and performance deliver excellence for manufacturing in Shanbally. The scope of this role includes the full site, biologics manufacturing drug substance, drug product (vial and syringe filling), and final packaging across all functions.
- Manage Raw materials and Finished Goods inventory management on site
- Own the continuous improvement of inventory processes
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure accurate stock records
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of end-to-end global supply chain processes and experience managing significant Raw materials inventory and FG inventory levels. They will drive and deliver ATS (Adherence to Schedule) to ensure safety stocks in Distribution centers meet patient needs.
Responsibilities include driving efforts to optimize inventory, minimizing expiry, guiding make-to-buy decisions, writing on and off inventory in SAP, and activating and driving teams to ensure all agreed processes and procedures are followed. Regular storage checks and liaison with vendors to maintain professional relationships are also essential duties.
This role requires a proven track record of effectively managing inventory, a deep understanding of end-to-end global supply chain processes, and experience working in a complex, virtual commercial supply chain environment.
