Regional SHEQ Leader

As an Urgent Regional SHEQ Manager, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our approach to health, safety, and environmental performance.The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with demonstrable expertise in leading a health & safety culture transformation. They'll be qualified to NEBOSH Diploma level (or relevant degree) in Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management, with evidence of CPD achievement. Additionally, they'll have a proven track record of working with and improving management systems, as well as experience managing a geographically spread team.We're looking for someone who is skilled at developing and implementing meaningful KPI's, targeting key areas of improvement, and enabling the ability to celebrate success. First-hand experience of dealing with regulatory bodies stakeholders and external clients is also essential. You'll lead and drive a culture that never compromises on the health and safety of employees, contractors, customers, and partners. You'll ensure that short- and longer-term plans and approaches are developed, agreed, and implemented to meet contract requirements, relevant legislation, and all business strategies and objectives.You'll be responsible for ensuring that SHEQ procedures and systems are implemented across the business, are fully understood by competent follow-up to allow all relevant legislation to be complied with. You'll also implement safety policies and programs, including training programs, processes, and procedures. Additionally, you'll research market developments in relevant areas, identify approaches and processes that will add value to the business, and develop and propose to the Management Team any relevant developments, projects, approaches, and initiatives.
