We're looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Senior DevOps Engineer. This is a senior role within our organisation, and you will need to be able to understand the sophisticated requirements of delivering software in a regulated environment.

Job Description

This role involves working with our engineering teams to build best-in-class delivery pipelines. You will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with our engineering teams to understand their product requirements, how they build/test/deploy their software applications
  • Providing guidance on DevOps tools, environments & standard processes to our teams that have been developed by the DevOps Centre of Excellence (DCOE)

You will work collaboratively with our Engineering Factories & DevOps Centre of Excellence to develop solutions that meet our business needs.

Essential Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in either a software development role where you have excellent exposure to releasing applications into a production environment or an operational facing role where you've had to deploy and support production type workloads
  • The ability to articulate technical designs and processes to both engineering teams and non-technical audiences
  • Experience using the Atlassian tool stack - Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket & Crucible
  • Exposure to one or more cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP) and comfortable with how to provision infrastructure using the portal UI
