Job Role

As an Early Years Educator, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment that encourages learning through play-based activities. Your primary focus will be on supporting the development of young children, including their emotional, social, physical, and cognitive growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular observations and learning stories to track the progress of assigned children.
  • Assist in curriculum planning and practice using Aistear and Siolta frameworks to ensure holistic development.

With a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork, you will work closely with other educators to provide a comprehensive and supportive service to children and families.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will require a minimum Fetac Level 5 qualification in childcare or a recognised equivalent. Experience in a childcare setting is highly desirable, as is a passion for working with young children.
