About the Role
  • This role involves providing engineering design and management tasks on projects as part of an integrated team.
  • You will be responsible for designing and specifying mechanical engineering solutions that meet current regulations and design standards.
  • You will collaborate closely with clients and project engineers to define project requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • You will lead the development and agreement of design processes and deliverables.
  • Pre-construction engineering activities and information production, including design development, construction details, services coordination, technical submittals, and subcontracts.
Key Qualifications
  • Strong technical expertise in all aspects of mechanical engineering services and design.
  • A third-level diploma or degree in mechanical or building services engineering is essential.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a design consultancy environment.
  • Familiarity with current CIBSE and ASHRAE design guides, Building Regulations, EN and IEC Standards is required.
  • Proficiency in Hevacomp, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite software is necessary.
  • You should be proactive, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work well in a multifunctional team.
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy is expected.
