Overview

PE Global Recruitment are currently working with a leading General Contractor based in Ireland to recruit Mechanical Engineers in Dublin. This is a full time, permanent role.

The role

As part of continued growth, they are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the team in Dublin. This role offers the chance to work on technically challenging and high-profile projects within the life sciences sector, contributing to facilities that make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, implementation, and oversight of mechanical systems on life science construction projects.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems meet the stringent requirements of regulated environments.
  • Monitor works to ensure high standards of quality, safety, and compliance are maintained throughout.
  • Support the coordination of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise to resolve on-site challenges efficiently.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 1-3 years experience in mechanical engineering, ideally within life sciences, residential, or similar technically complex sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and building services systems.
  • Previous experience with a main contractor is an advantage.
  • Strong IT proficiency, with the ability to work effectively with engineering and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, client-focused mindset with a strong commitment to delivering results.
