Job Role Summary:

The Broker Support Advisor role is a pivotal position within our Motor Team, requiring strong organizational and communication skills to facilitate seamless interactions with brokers, underwriting, claims, and accounts departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assess broker referrals for risk acceptability within authority limits.
  2. Respond promptly and professionally to broker queries, ensuring efficient communication.
  3. Liaise closely with internal departments, including underwriting, accounts, audit, and claims, to support day-to-day operations.
  4. Verify account reconciliations and maintain accurate records of broker accounts.
  5. Collaborate with the Audit Team to review broker-placed risks.
  6. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and CPD requirements.
  7. Support complaint handling according to internal procedures.
  8. Stay updated on internal processes, technical guidance, and regulatory changes.
  9. Promote professionalism in all interactions with brokers.
Requirements:
  • Experience in insurance, underwriting, or broker support is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
  • A customer-focused approach with a proactive attitude is required.
  • High attention to detail and efficient task management are necessary.
  • Keenness to develop knowledge and meet CPD requirements is essential.
  • Adaptability and a positive attitude as part of an adaptable team player are valuable assets.
