We are seeking a seasoned Risk Management Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for implementing the Operational Risk Management program, supporting business managers in designing and managing control environments, and identifying key controls for testing.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-8 years operational risk or control management experience in a financial services institution, with strong analytical, research, and reporting skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:- Implement the Operational Risk Management program and monitor adherence to requirements;
- Support business managers in designing and managing control environments;
- Identify key controls for testing and champion behaviors that embed a strong risk management culture;
- Foster strong stakeholder management to enable active and collaborative working relationships;
- Coordinate and facilitate the control testing process;
- Report results and provide insights to stakeholders;
- Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Head of OCM.
- Degree qualified with a minimum of 5-8 years operational risk or control management related work experience;
- Solid understanding of banking, treasury management, and payments processes;
- Strong analytical, research, and reporting skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Proactive, result-driven, and hands-on mentality;
- Ability to build strong relationships with operational staff at all levels;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team;
- Strong organization and time management skills.
