Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Paediatric Nurse to provide high-quality care and support to children with complex needs in the comfort of their own homes. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide holistic care and support to children with complex needs, including medication management, seizure management, and pain management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Implement and evaluate care plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Pin issued by NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland).
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a paediatric or homecare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the changing needs of clients.
