The role of Health and Safety Officer involves providing oversight and implementation of health and safety practices across our international operations.
This includes ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards, promoting a culture of health and safety, and implementing programs that enhance employee safety and well-being.
Liaising with global sites to tailor and enforce effective health and safety policies is also a key responsibility.
This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite at Limerick HQ.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and monitor company-wide health and safety policies in line with legislative requirements and best practices.
- Work closely with various departments and stakeholders to create a healthier and safer workplace.
- Conduct periodic reviews and audits identifying risks of health and safety practices across all sites, field, and remote work environments to ensure compliance to local regulations and continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain incident reporting protocols and procedures for managing workplace incidents and safety violations.
- Design and deliver health and safety training programs to educate employees about risks, proper ergonomics, mental health awareness, and emergency procedures.
