An exciting vacancy has arisen for a highly motivated Health and Safety Professional to join the dedicated Health, Safety Environmental (HSE) Team and play an integral part in developing, maintaining and continually improving the HSE Systems/Programs at Lilly's new Next-Generation manufacturing facility in Limerick.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, integrate and improve Safety/Health programmes including but not limited to Safety Mindsets, Training and Awareness.
2. Provide specialist advice and technical guidance/expertise to the site to ensure compliance with Safety/Health legislation, corporate standards, policies and industry guidance.
3. Support the development of a safety environment with integrated safety practices and open safety conversations.
4. Develop and deliver high quality Safety/Health training.
5. Understand and implement Safety/Health requirements in a project environment through knowledge of applicable legislation and industry practices.
6. Complete site performance metric reviews and analysis.
7. Support site audits, self-assessments, management reviews and corporate audits/external regulatory audits.
8. Collaborate with site manufacturing and technical support personnel to run Safety/Health aspects of new / established processes.
9. Work well with external (e.g., service providers, vendors, consortiums, academia) and internal partners (e.g., Global HSE, other sites in the network, etc) as needed.
10. Support and interact in required site team and HSE Team meetings.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety (or related subject) and a minimum of 2-4 years relevant professional experience in a manufacturing facility (Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated Industry).
