We're seeking a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to join our team for the Special Olympics Ireland Summer Games 2026. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a high-profile, multi-sport event that brings together athletes, volunteers, families and friends from across the island of Ireland.
">- The event features 3 days of competition across 11 venues, an Opening Ceremony, accommodation of delegations and additional programmes for athletes.
As Volunteer Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and providing an unforgettable experience for all involved. Your responsibilities will include coordinating a well-organized community of volunteers, managing logistics and communication, and ensuring seamless event execution.
This is an excellent chance to gain valuable experience in event management, develop your leadership skills, and make a positive impact on the lives of athletes and their families.
To succeed in this role, you should have excellent organizational and communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and possess a strong attention to detail.
