Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our culinary team as a Line Cook.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to agreed standards, assisting the Kitchen Managers with general supervision and coaching of Kitchen Assistants, and deputising for Kitchen Managers in their absence.

Responsibilities
  • Meet guests' requirements and seek opportunities to exceed their expectations
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area to a high standard and adhere to company and legal requirements at all times
  • Follow guidelines on stock control, portion control, and food wastage to maintain food Cost of Sales for the unit
  • Support Kitchen Managers with implementation and production of menus, procedures, and standards as required
  • Attend all company training as required for legal purposes, personal development, or development of new menus and dishes
  • Comply with guidelines and practices in respect of food safety as detailed in the Food Safety Manual
Requirements
  • Naturally helpful, enthusiastic, and possess excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with colleagues
Working Hours

Contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis, including public/bank holidays and during Christmas/New Year on a rota basis with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on Sundays
