Warehouse Operations Supervisor Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead our warehouse team and drive operational excellence.

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate a team to achieve high standards of safety, quality, and output.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure they meet safety and quality standards while achieving customer service targets.
  • Create, monitor, and manage operational schedules in line with customer requirements.
  • Supervise and coach a dedicated team, providing clear guidance to meet operational goals.
  • Liaise closely with colleagues to resolve issues and drive improvements.
  • Champion a safety-first culture and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ensure accurate handling of documentation, reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Manage staff training and development, including performance reviews and goal setting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a warehouse environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and material handling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures.
