Job Overview:

An experienced Information Security Program Lead Analyst is required to drive efforts in support of governance, risk and compliance for the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at a leading financial institution.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement effective IS metrics for multiple legal entities and regional governance bodies.
  2. Prepare periodic IS reports summarizing the risk posture for senior management.
  3. Provide guidance on audit preparation, resolution of audit findings and closure.
  4. Assist in strengthening controls and processes to pass audits with a satisfactory rating.
  5. Manage responses to regulatory bodies on behalf of the CISO regional leadership.
  6. Develop and manage management information.
  7. Support governance of risk exceptions, issues and corrective action plans.
  8. Ensure approvals and reviews are executed when necessary.
  9. Engage with counterparts and teams to enhance risk oversight.
  10. Establish communication channels with cross-sector ISOs to tackle security issues efficiently.
  11. Develop strong stakeholder management skills to effectively influence and communicate cyber risk.
  12. Build relationships across peers and stakeholders within geographies.
  13. Focus on process improvements, removing deficiencies and enhancing current tools to reduce the overall risk profile.
  14. Participate in the IS community on committees and cross-business functional opportunities.
  15. Attend and participate in internal external forums and risk committees where appropriate.
  16. Demonstrate extensive understanding of IS standards and best practices across multiple disciplines.
  17. Complete any other tasks connected with the role as charged by the direct manager, supervisor or functional head.
  18. Support the implementation of the IS Training Plan by verifying training participants completed the training and understand IS requirements.
  19. Apply appropriate governance to regional cyber programs.
  20. Elevate significant risks to the Regional/Sector IS Leadership for information or required actions.
  21. Attend and participate in internal external IS forums and risk committees when necessary.
  22. Manage audits in line with CISO expectations and in partnership with peers from other product lines.
  23. Resolve non-compliant items through coordination with colleagues across CISO and the legal entities.

This role requires an individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks and demonstrate excellent communication and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role and possess a strong understanding of IS standards and best practices.
