Nua Healthcare Services invites applications for the position of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner within our new specialist mental health inpatient service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care and treatment for adults aged 18-65 with mental disorders.

Job Overview:

  • Work as part of a talented multidisciplinary team in a new and exciting specialist mental health inpatient service.
  • Provide care and treatment for adults aged 18-65 with mental disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-operate with your employer and comply with relevant Acts, standards, and regulations.
  • Ensure Personal Plans and Intensive Care Plans are up-to-date and services meet the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Be familiar with local safety statements, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures.
  • Use company IT systems as instructed and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Report any concerns for patient safety to your line manager or other manager.

Requirements:

  • Registration on the Psychiatric Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
  • Excellent knowledge of Medication Management.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • An understanding of individual needs and ability to work under pressure.
