We're seeking a skilled software engineer to join our mission to secure the next generation of cloud native applications.

Job Overview

This role will be based in Cork and involve working on open-source networking and security projects, with opportunities to collaborate with diverse individuals from around the world.

Key Responsibilities

You'll work closely with our team to develop and shape the future of cloud native applications, leveraging your experience with infrastructure or distributed systems development using languages such as C/C++, Rust or Golang.

  • Develop and maintain cloud-scale applications and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
  • Contribute to open-source projects and initiatives.
RequirementsMust-Haves
  • 8+ years of product-oriented software engineering experience.
  • Experience with infrastructure or distributed systems oriented development using a language such as C/C++, Rust or Golang (Golang experience desirable).
  • Experience with one or more of the following areas and technologies: Networking, Network Security, Kubernetes, Docker / Containers, OpenShift, related or similar.
  • A drive to get things done in a highly collaborative, agile development environment.
  • BS in CS or related / similar degree (equivalent experience may suffice).
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience developing, securing or operating cloud scale applications or infrastructure.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to attend conferences and to work with partners, customers and colleagues in other offices within the US and internationally.
  • Experience or familiarity with any of these technologies: Istio, Envoy, AI/ML, Python.
  • Experience with data pipelines, analytics, and modeling.
  • Experience in an open source based company, with a focus on cloud, networking and/or network security.
