Ultrasound Specialist Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking a skilled Ultrasound Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis in Dun Laoghaire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical imaging and excellent interpersonal skills.


About the Role:
  • Produce high-quality ultrasound images in accordance with established protocols
  • Provide exceptional patient care and service, maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical, technical, and radiographic developments in sonography, promoting best practices within the department

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of ultrasound areas, adhering to infection control procedures
  • Report equipment problems promptly to the USM and notify clinic managers of potential delays, providing updates as necessary
  • Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and quality improvement activities to maintain and improve skills

Requirements:

  • CORU registration
  • MSc Ultrasound or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant clinical sonography experience with proficiency in performing various sonographic exam types
