Ultrasound Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Specialist to join our team in Dublin. As a leading provider of teleradiology and managed radiology services, we offer a unique development opportunity for a CORU-registered Sonographer to expand their practice into obstetrics and early pregnancy ultrasound.

This role offers a structured combination of clinical practice and training:

  • Three days per week delivering scheduled general ultrasound services at our clinic.
  • Two days per week fully dedicated to obstetric and early pregnancy ultrasound training at our clinic in Dublin 2.

The successful candidate will also receive full funding and dedicated study time to complete an accredited obstetric ultrasound course. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sonographer looking to expand their skillset and start a career in obstetrics and early pregnancy ultrasound.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general ultrasound examinations independently over three days per week, producing high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with protocols and recognised best practices.
  • Undertake two days per week of supervised obstetric ultrasound training, participating actively in clinical scanning, teaching sessions, and competency assessments.
  • Deliver a patient-centred service at all times, ensuring that every patient is treated with dignity, respect, efficiency, and confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • CORU registration.
  • CASE accredited MSc in Ultrasound or equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Clinical experience performing a variety of general ultrasound examinations.
