Our client is seeking an experienced Data Protection specialist for a key role in their organisation. As the Data Protection Manager, you will work closely with senior management and other departments to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
About the RoleThis is a mid-senior level position that requires at least 5 years' experience working directly in data protection. You will be responsible for advising on data protection matters, escalating data privacy issues, and leading relevant committees.
Key Responsibilities- Advise on data protection matters and escalate data privacy issues
- Lead relevant data protection committees
- Analyse and advise on the privacy impact of legislative developments
- Assist with compliance and risk assessments
- Liaise with data protection regulators
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Self-starter skills and excellent communication
