Mainframe Performance Expert

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote efficient operation of applications and services across the mainframe platform.
  • Leverage expertise to manage capacity, ensuring optimal use of resources while maintaining contractual compliance.
  • Maintain accurate capacity plans to support strategic architectural decisions and procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve performance-related service incidents.
  • Analyze the environment annually to deliver customer-centric results and financial benefits by proactively identifying opportunities.
  • Evaluate new application performance to ensure optimal execution.
  • Communicate related KPIs and capacity plans to all relevant parties in a timely manner.

This role focuses on Mainframe and Tandem platforms initially but may evolve to encompass other platforms within the function's scope.
