Job Description

We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team as Maintenance Technicians. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine repairs and maintenance tasks on various equipment and systems.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, kitchen, and laundry equipment. You will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a high level of organization.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be expected to maintain adequate levels of spares, stock, and supplies, ensuring effective forward planning. You will also be responsible for undertaking repair and maintenance tasks to a high standard, including plumbing, joinery, and carpentry, painting, and decorating, and maintaining lighting and required statutory testing.

  • Complete repair orders for general repair as requested.
  • Notify management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
  • Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, kitchen, and laundry equipment.
  • Maintain adequate levels of spares, stock, and supplies, ensuring effective forward planning.
  • Undertake repair and maintenance tasks to a high-quality including plumbing; joinery and carpentry; painting/decorating; maintenance of lighting and required statutory testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • 1 Year's previous experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of / with people with additional and/or complex needs.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive self-motivator who can provide holistic supports of the highest quality.
  • The ability to adapt to new environments.
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills under pressure, ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Excellent organisational skills / self-motivated / self-starter.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and IT skills.
