The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive test framework strategy in collaboration with QA and development teams. They will own the QA development artifacts (e.g., test code repository) and ensure best practices are upheld. The technical roadmap for QA test frameworks will be driven by the successful candidate, aligning with business and product needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive test framework strategy
  • Own the QA development artifacts
  • Drive the technical roadmap for QA test frameworks
  • Track test framework activities
  • Enhance test framework coverage methodologies
  • Evaluate and improve quality assurance of test frameworks across private and public cloud infrastructure
  • Design and develop test frameworks for integration, regression, stress tests, and automation suites
  • Apply expertise in Web/UI testing tools such as Playwright
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and build automation tools for scalability testing

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in embedded software within industries (data centres, networking, security, cloud services, or automotive)
  • Strong expertise in test framework design, development, and maintenance
  • Strong Knowledge of Linux command line, shell scripting, networking fundamentals, and cybersecurity best practices
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS) is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of test methodologies, software development processes, and automation tools (Playwright, PyTest, Behave, Postman)
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, client-server architectures, and tools like JIRA and Jenkins
  • Passion for quality assurance and testing in software engineering
