Job Title: Public Transportation Professional

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating buses on scheduled routes across Cork, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers while adhering to timetables and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate buses safely and efficiently on designated routes.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to passengers by being approachable, friendly, and responsive to their needs.
  • Adhere to strict schedules and operational protocols to ensure seamless services.
  • Process cash fares accurately and handle end-of-shift cash handling with professionalism.
  • Maintain high standards of professional conduct in line with company policies and expectations.

To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong focus on safety, responsibility, and professionalism. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and 5/7 rosters.

Requirements:
  • Must hold a valid Irish category D driving license.
  • Must be aged 21 or over (insurance requirement).
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of prioritizing safety and adhering to regulatory guidelines.
  • Excel in building rapport with diverse groups of people through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing situations and schedules.
