We are seeking a professional Bus Driver to join our team in Cork.

  • Job Title: Bus Driver

  • Location: Cork, Ireland

  • Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time (rotatory shift pattern)

  • Rate of Pay: €20.56 per hour

Core Responsibilities

  1. Safely operate a Class D public service vehicle along scheduled routes.

  2. Adapt to a rotating shift schedule (e.g., early, late, split, night/weekend shifts).

  3. Deliver excellent customer service: assist passengers and handle queries professionally.

  4. Maintain compliance with health, safety, transport regulations, and required documentation (tachograph, CPC, logbooks).

  5. Perform pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections and report any issues.

  6. Adhere to company policies and represent the organisation positively.

Shift Pattern

  • A rotatory shift schedule is likely on a multi-week (e.g., 5-week) rota, covering early starts, late finishes, night shifts, and split shifts.

  • The shift system in operation Early /Middle / Late: Early shift ranges from 04:35 to 09:59 Middle shift ranges from 10:00 to 13:59 Late shift ranges from 14:00 onwards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A full, clean Irish Class D driving licence.

  • A digital Tachograph card.

  • A valid Driver CPC for public service vehicles.

  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Flexibility to work unsocial hours, weekends, nights, and public holidays.
