Site Management Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our commercial project in Cork City. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-spec residential developments on time, within budget, and to the required safety, environmental, and quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a time-served background or be degree-qualified and possess excellent experience in managing construction projects. You will work closely with our contracts manager, design team, and sub-contractors to ensure smooth project operations.

  • Liaise with Contracts Manager - week-to-week operations
  • Coordinate with Design Team and Client - project activities
  • Work with Services Co-ordinator - services subcontractor coordination
  • Collaborate with Senior Engineer - engineering details and design
  • Communicate with Purchasing Manager - material and plant requisitioning
  • Manage Finishing Foreman - control of labor, plant, and equipment on site
  • Support Senior Quantity Surveyor - cost issues and compiling Variation Log and monitoring variations
  • Maintain Quality & Environmental records in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements

You will also be responsible for scheduling weekly work programs, reviewing progress reports, facilitating information flow between teams, and supporting communication between designers and sub-contractors.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Trade qualifications or a minimum of 10 years' site management experience OR Engineering degree/Diploma or related discipline
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Package
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrate a high degree of responsibility
