Product Development Engineer Opportunity

We are excited to partner with a growing Medical Device company in Ireland, who are looking for an experienced Product Development Engineer to join their team.

  • Develop and evaluate device concepts to meet performance requirements. This involves designing prototypes, testing them, and resolving technical challenges.
  • Create detailed component and assembly drawings/specifications using Autodesk Fusion.
  • Select materials, assembly methods, and define process parameters to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers for system integration.
  • Partner with vendors and external resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Prepare procedures, protocols, reports, and technical documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of design iterations, test results, and project progress.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in medical device design and development, including SolidWorks, prototyping, and testing.
