Technical Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated technical lead to work on designing, developing and implementing high-performance applications.

The successful candidate will be part of an exciting new group building innovative capabilities to support the rollout of new financial instruments in the institutional market.

The Skills We're Looking For
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology is required
  • 8+ years of software application design and development experience is essential
  • Desired skills include Java, Spring/Springboot, Angular/Javascript/Typescript, RESTful Services, AWS Cloud and Dockerised frameworks
  • Knowledge of batch and event-driven technologies such as Kafka is advantageous
  • Passion for good API practices, structured design, clean code and microservices is crucial
  • Experience with testing software, including writing automated unit, integration, performance and end-to-end tests is necessary
  • Agile methodologies must be familiar to the candidate
The Purpose of Your Role
  • As a technical lead you will be responsible for delivering key customer features in collaboration with other software engineers, quality automation engineers and systems analysts
  • You will help define, implement and advance development practices, standards and strategies, contributing to modern engineering practices across our platforms and teams

  • Ability to provide technical mentorship to the team is crucial
  • Experience in improving engineering, architectural and coding standards is desirable
