We are seeking Relief Support Workers to join our team in providing adult services training and employment programmes.


Job Description:
  • To be aware of the individuality of each person and treat them with dignity and respect.
  • To promote a friendly and supportive environment in the training centre/group home.
  • To provide the highest possible standard of care in all areas and develop a caring relationship with each person that uses our service.
  • To assist in the personal care of people using our services where appropriate.
  • To report all accidents, incidents and complaints in the appropriate manner.

Requirements:
  • A minimum qualification of QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or an equivalent qualification.
  • A Full Clean Irish Drivers Licence for manual vehicles.

Essential Skills:
  • Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Basic IT skills including typing and using Microsoft Word.
  • Team player and initiative.
  • Advocacy skills.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and patience when working with vulnerable adults. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential.
