Job Title: Dental Nurse

Description:

  • Seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Nurse to join our dental team. As a Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during various procedures, and maintaining accurate records.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude. You will work closely with our dental receptionist to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including orthodontic treatments.
  2. Provide chairside assistance and anticipate the needs of patients during treatment.
  3. Record accurate and detailed dental charting and treatment notes.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized dental surgery, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  5. Decontaminate and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and materials for treatment.
  6. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
  7. Manage and maintain dental supplies and inventory, restocking as necessary.
  8. Collaborate with the dental receptionist to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling.
  9. Assist with reception duties where required.
  10. Support the dental laboratory with pouring and trimming models, and fabricating temporary restorations.

Requirements:

  • Current Dental Nursing qualification.
  • Previous experience working as a Dental Nurse in a clinic environment is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good command of the English language (written and oral).
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Competitive hourly rate: €15.00-€18.00.
  • Full-time and part-time positions available.
  • Monday to Friday schedule.
