Team Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled team leader to lead our retail team. This is an exciting opportunity for a people leader who is passionate about developing their team and driving performance.

This new leadership role involves coaching and supporting your team to reach their full potential, recognising achievements, and proactively managing performance. As a team leader, you will be responsible for both operational and people leadership activity within the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and support your team to reach their full potential, recognising achievements, and proactively managing performance
  • Responsible for both operational and people leadership activity within the store
  • Recruitment, onboarding, pay accuracy, absence management, career progression
  • Member of the senior leadership team, working closely with the leadership team to achieve collective goals and drive overall success
  • Encourage your team to take initiative and pride in delivering excellent service, sales, and stock replenishment
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive work environment
  • Raise performance through coaching and development

Requirements for this role include:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a fast-paced retail or grocery environment
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
  • People leadership, recruitment and development experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to interpret sales data and drive performance
  • Ability to work effectively across departments such as Fashion, Home, and Food
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
