Pharmacy Support Specialist

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team in Wicklow. As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver outstanding customer service by providing information on medications and resolving queries promptly.
- Assist the pharmacist in preparing prescriptions, verifying customer information requirements, and maintaining accurate records.
- Operate within current PSI regulations and guidelines on good practices for relevant services, adhering to strict quality standards.
- Manage pharmacy inventory effectively by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, placing orders, verifying receipt of orders, removing outdated stocks, and informing colleagues about shortages.
- Be an excellent team player with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
- Have previous experience working as a pharmacy technician in a community-based environment.
