Clinical Development Medical Director Role

The Clinical Development Medical Director is responsible for leading clinical programs and providing strategic input on deliverables. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical leadership and medical strategic input.
  • Driving execution of clinical programs in partnership with global teams.
  • Overseeing medical and scientific review of trial data.
  • Ensuring overall safety of molecules.
  • Supporting interactions with external partners and decision boards.
  • Developing careers of program reports and clinical colleagues.
  • Conducting medical/scientific training of stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • MEDICAL DEGREE REQUIRED: A medical degree (MD or equivalent) is required for this position.
  • Medical Board certification is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge and clinical training in a medical area are necessary.
  • 5+ years' experience in clinical research or drug development from the pharma/biotech industry.
  • 3+ years of contribution to conducting clinical trials in a global environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of GCP, trial design, statistical analysis methodology, and regulatory/clinical development process.
