Experience the dynamic environment of a 4-star restaurant in Dublin, where we are seeking an accomplished Culinary Team Member to join our prestigious kitchen team.
About the Role- Prominent among your responsibilities will be preparing and cooking dishes that meet exceptional standards within the relevant section.
- Liaise closely with senior chefs on a daily basis regarding menu planning, suppliers, and pricing strategies.
- Maintain optimal levels of food wastage and uphold rigorous hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and food and beverage areas.
- Develop the skills of junior staff members by teaching recipes, presentation techniques, and cooking methods.
- Contribute innovative ideas for new menus, collaborate in culinary competitions, document recipes, and analyze costs across all hotel outlets.
- Sustain HACCP protocols and maintain accurate record-keeping within the kitchen and food and beverage sections.
- Ensure timely equipment maintenance and report any compromised or faulty equipment.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in high-end operations is required.
- Demonstrated ability to create outstanding cuisine, particularly in banquet settings.
- A valid work permit is mandatory.
- Exceptional teamwork and communication skills are essential.
- A genuine passion for cooking and creating original dishes.
- In-depth knowledge of hygiene and HACCP principles.
