As an experienced Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to children and adults residing in our healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessment, intervention, and evaluation of treatment programs across self-care, leisure, and productive occupations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of service users, providing individualized assessments and developing tailored treatment plans to promote independence, safety, and overall well-being.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery of evidence-based therapies.
- Conduct environmental assessments to identify and mitigate barriers to accessibility and participation in daily activities.
- Develop and implement sensory integration approaches to support individuals with sensory processing difficulties.
- Provide education and training to families, caregivers, and staff members on strategies for supporting service users' needs.
- Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Current registration with the relevant professional body or pending registration at application stage.
- Minimum three years post-qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in disability services and/or mental health settings.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children and adults with complex support needs.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and team-working abilities.
