KEY OBJECTIVES

The AWS Cloud Engineer must be able to operate independently with the ability to influence and coalesce with solution teams across the organization to help deliver engineering solutions to meet Pfizer's business objectives.

This role will bring experience in designing AWS cloud solutions and implementing infrastructure as code capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of AWS cloud services with infrastructure design experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working in a cross-functional, global engineering and service development team while creating internal engineering and development standards.
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud services with infrastructure design experience.
  • Influencing how our business consumes AWS cloud technologies with a bias towards repeatable infrastructure as code principles.
  • Creating modern cloud design patterns and helping drive consumption of reusable patterns through partnership with creation centers.
  • Collaborating with cloud engineers, developers, and product teams to build native cloud capabilities for Pfizer.
  • Designing and architecting global standards for the deployment and management of AWS.
  • Ensuring continuous improvement initiatives are identified and proactively prioritized and addressed within the AWS environment.
