As an Account Manager for Small to Medium Businesses at Stripe, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by building relationships with prospective clients and converting them into satisfied customers. You will manage both inbound and outbound leads, serving as the first point of contact for many new and growing businesses interested in Stripe.

About the Position

You will be responsible for generating your own outbound leads, handling the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, onboarding, and activation for startups and small/medium businesses. Your goal will be to ensure that every potential Stripe customer has a positive experience with every interaction, regardless of deal size.

Responsibilities
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline to drive revenue growth
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, onboarding, and activation for startups and small/medium businesses
  • Generate your own leads through cold calling, blitzing, research, networking, and driving your territory
  • Manage leads qualified by our inbound and outbound sales development representatives
  • Coordinate with other Stripe teams to ensure that internal resources are set up for users' success
Requirements

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

  • 2-3 years of full-time experience in the solution sales field, with successfully closed and onboarded deals
  • Experience in sales with startup users, as well as small and mid-sized businesses
  • Ability to understand the Stripe API and build strong relationships with highly technical customers
  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • High professional fluency in Italian and English
  • Open to traveling and attending events
