As an Infrastructure Design Specialist, you will join part of an established team in Limerick, working on projects for Irish Water. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to oversee and manage the design of multiple projects, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery.

Duties:
  • Design structures, buildings, and general civil works related to the water sector, adhering to Irish Water Standards.
  • Create detailed design packages from concept to final design, incorporating environmental, archaeological, and other key considerations.
  • Manage both in-house and subcontracted design resources to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Develop initial project schedules that comply with contract requirements and can be further refined by the Planning and Programming Teams.
  • Foster strong professional relationships as a key point of contact for clients and client representatives, ensuring effective project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Civil Engineering Degree or related discipline
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably with knowledge of Irish Water Standards
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and possess commercial awareness of design costs
  • Good leadership skills, including the ability to lead teams effectively
