Precast Structural Engineer Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Precast Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and oversee precast concrete elements for construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and Irish building standards, with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze precast concrete elements, ensuring compliance with Eurocodes and Irish building regulations.
  • Prepare structural calculations, technical drawings, and specifications for precast systems.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project teams to deliver optimized solutions.
  • Provide technical support during manufacturing and site installation phases.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Identify and address engineering challenges efficiently.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Professional experience in precast concrete design or structural engineering.
  • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and Irish construction standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Preferred: Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
