Job Overview

The Quality organization aims to achieve customer satisfaction by driving continuous improvement through a systematic approach to quality management, defect reduction and prevention.

Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex product and process quality issues from initiation to closure.
  • Evaluate non-conforming material and disposition of the material.
  • Analyze SEM/TEM images and EDX data to solve electrical and defect problems.
  • Train and mentor Quality or Process Engineers on core tools like Statistical Process Control, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Measurement Systems Analysis.
  • Audit key suppliers as required.
  • Participate in audits from customers and certification authorities; review customer specific requirements and respond to part specific information as required.
  • Analyze customer returns and support continuous improvement activities.
  • Share results, best practices and provide comparable data with sister fabs.
  • Collaborate with Product, Process, Design, Failure Analysis and Reliability engineering organizations to drive quality improvements.
Qualifications / Key Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 3+ years of experience in semiconductor industry functional areas like Quality, Process, Product or Yield engineering.
  • Strong technical knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes including CMOS and Bipolar device technologies.
  • Good knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment and understanding of risk management using FMEA and Control Plan tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of problem-solving tools like 8D, DMAIC, 5-Why, Fishbone analysis, etc.
  • Familiarity with industry quality standards like IATF16949/ISO9001.
  • Strong attention to detail and root-cause analysis to support a zero-defect initiative.
  • Great collaborator who leads through influence.
