Our multidisciplinary team in North Dublin is seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Worker to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). This exciting opportunity involves providing specialist mental health support to children, adolescents, and their families.
- We are looking for an experienced professional with expertise in psychosocial assessments, risk evaluations, and therapeutic interventions.
- The successful candidate will have a strong track record of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing tailored care plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions. You will work closely with clinicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for young people facing complex mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed psychosocial and risk assessments to inform care planning.
- Develop and deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Liaise with external agencies, including schools and community organisations, to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate case records and contribute to service development initiatives.
Requirements:
- A recognised social work qualification and CORU registration.
- A minimum of three years post-qualification experience, with at least one year in a mental health setting.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families facing complex mental health challenges.
- Strong skills in risk assessment, crisis intervention, and therapeutic work.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
