Speech and Language Therapist Opportunity

This is an exciting career opportunity to work as a staff grade or senior speech and language therapist in a well-regarded hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for adults presenting with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties.
  • Collaborate closely with medical, nursing, and allied health colleagues to optimise patient outcomes across acute wards.
  • Deliver dysphagia assessments and management in line with best practice standards.
  • Contribute to discharge planning and care pathways to ensure continuity of care.
  • Document all assessments, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with professional standards.
Senior Role Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision, leadership, and mentoring to junior staff and students.
  • Take a lead in service development initiatives, quality improvement projects, and clinical governance activities.
  • Contribute to training and education for hospital staff on communication and swallowing management.
