Job Title

Building Site Supervisor Position

• An experienced site supervisor is required to manage building projects in Cork, working on both commercial and residential sectors.

• The role involves overseeing setting out and checking works for projects, ensuring all works are completed as per project specifications and building regulations.

The Job Description:

  • Supervising the setting out and checking of works to ensure all tasks are completed in line with project drawings and specifications.
  • Verifying the quality of works completed to ensure they meet high standards.
  • Collaborating with the Project Manager/Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with construction management teams, subcontractors, and site personnel.

Requirements:

  • A degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory or engineering role.
  • Proficiency in using setting out instruments and competent in aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works coordination, and using a total station.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
